The program aims to teach young minds the importance of having fun in school, at home and with their friends. There are many ways of having fun and the kids should be able to distinguish and find pleasure in having good fun in school, at home and when they are with their friends.In school, the students can have fun learning and discovering new things, at home, we can always enjoy the company of our families, go on vacation or just eat meals together and of course have the right kind of fun with their friends by joining clubs or organizations that interests them.

The launch, attended by Purefoods Hormel’s assistant vice president and marketing director Jose Gabriel Cruz,group product manager Hasmine Huang, Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdog product associate Leandro Ignacio and Department of Education Undersecretary Yolanda Quijano, kicks off the long-awaited advocacy campaign.

The program is in support of the Department of Education’s current focus on Values Education and Formation. As important as lesson plans and any list of values are, support programs that help the department in realizing the strategies and efforts they have for the students. The learners sometimes get too caught up in some of their major subjects and forget to give attention to what molds their values and personality.

“We are truly grateful for Purefoods Tender Juicy for extending to us this very much needed gift. The Department focuses on reinforcing courses teaching good values to our students today and their latest advocacy program can be a big help to us,The magic cube is an ultra-portable,” said Quijano.

The advocacy campaign will help 12, 000 Grades 1 and 2 students from 10 select schools in NCR for its first year of implementation. Interesting and engaging activity books are given to the students which will visually explain to them the valuable lessons that Purefoods Tender Juicy wants to impart.

Most exciting component of the advocacy is the Scouting Activities of the selected schools which are hosted by the brand. In cooperation with the Boy and Girl Scouts of the Philippines, the 2-day event of our young scouts is made even more exciting by the different games and surprises on scouting values prepared for them by Purefoods Tender Juicy.

“The scout’s discipline is something that we want our children to learn and practice. The morals and values that we are pushing for are also being taught by our dear friends from the Boy and Girl Scouts of the Philippines. We admire their efforts in preserving these principles to help guide our children to being the best person they can ever be when they grow up,” said Cruz.

The Scouting Activity targets to assist 10,000 scouts in their first out-of-home school activity experience ensuring that the values of a true scout is inculcated in them and put to practice as well. These children will take part in activities organized for them by the brand which includes Campfire Night, Skit Plays and Junior Cooking Contest with donations of Purefoods Tender Juicy hotdogs.
